Artist Madness

Galaxara partnered up with Michael La-Cour aka. Simplearts, making videos focused around artists’ mental health. The videos and featured artwork are heavily inspired by the making a the fire-spewing NDH band Rammstein.

From Inspiration to Fanart

After experiencing the pyrotechnic band in action back in 2022, Galaxara deep-dived into Rammsteins catalog of thought provoking lyrics and artistic videos.
Inspiration struck as the band was unafraid to speak up on historical topics, controversial subjects and sexuality, as well as pushing boundaries on how these are represented. As an entity, an idea formed of these creatures of the earth, made of fire and magma, rising up into something otherworldly. - Much alike how their concerts, where they leave their audience in awe.

Galaxara having an idea formed, contacted old partner-in-crime Simplearts for advice on showcasing each bandmember while she painted, with a provocative twist, as an homage to the bands’ video style.

What was supposed to be a spontaneous coffee-date, became a passion-project, producing videos with different horroresque topics, showing off both partners’ creative skills.

Showing the dark side of artistry

Each video represents a deep part of how an artist evolves with each artwork they make. In the following videos, audience can expect the feeling of being driven mad by creativity, being frozen solid by mental pressure or even feeling controlled by questionable powers beyond the veil of reality.
